La Plata Farms is celebrating its 25 year of providing quality Spinning and Weaving supplies to the professional or novice. We carry Louët, Ashford and Schacht spinning wheels and looms along with a full array of supplies, fibers all with with personal service.
Workshops, Lessons
and Instruction are available at our Farm or at your facility.
We have 25 years experience in Spinning, Dyeing and Felting.
Come visit our retail shop at our farm with extensive
inventory of fibers as well as equipment.
We also offer a
repair service, for your wheel or loom.
Many times an older wheel just needs a little TLC and will be
ready to give you many more years of service.
Doug can offer you advice and help you get your foot to the
treadle.
We participate in many trade shows and conferences
and you can find our booth with the big La Plata Farms sign at the
Pagosa Fiber Fest, the Estes Park Wool Market, the Wool Fest at Taos
and the Best of the Southwest Festival in Farmington, NM. We also
have attended Convergence, SOAR, IWC and
